Billy is a rock musician and Joe is his manager.

Juliet ant Peter were married and Mark is the best friend of Peter.

Jamie and Aurélia

Jamie is in love with Aurélia, his housekeeper.

David and Natalie

David is the first minister and Natalie is his secretary, they begin in love.

Daniel, Sam, Joanna and Carol

Sarah, Karl and Michael

Colin, Tony, Stacey, Jeannie, Carol-Anne, Harriet and Carla

They are doing a film together and finally they begin in love.

Each story is linked in some way except for Billy Mack and his manager, who are not friends with any of the characters; however, he appears frequently on characters' radios and TVs; his music video provides an important plot device for Sam's pursuit of Joanna; the pair also cross paths with the other characters in the closing Heathrow scene. John and Judy work with Tony who is best friends with Colin who works for a catering company that works at the office where Sarah, Karl, Mia, and Harry work and also catered Peter and Juliet's wedding. Mia is friends with Mark who runs the art gallery where the Christmas office party takes place. Mia also lives next door to Natalie. Mark is in love with Juliet and friends with Peter. The couple are friends with Jamie and Sarah. Harry is married to Karen who is friends with Daniel, and Karen's brother is David who works with Natalie.

Write their names.

2. United Kingdom comprises four nations. 
Could you name them and their capitals?

3. Which important river goes along Oxford and London?  The river thames.
Where is it wider? Why?
The river Thames is wider in London, in the south, because is the mouth of the river Thames. 

4. Where can you find these things? .

1-Egyptian mummies- Btitish Museum
In this museum we can find pieces of history, human history, art and archaeology.







2-Dinosaurs- Natural History Museum
In this museum besides dinosaurs, we can find botanic, entomology and something about the scientist Darwin. 






3-Pictures by famous painters- National Gallery This museum is in Trafalgar Square. In this museum we can find pictures of occidental art and renaissance style. 

5.Where is the Lake Ness? Why is it famous?
the Lake Ness is in Scotland, this is famous because it has a very legend that says tin the lake there is a big monster called Nessy. This legend talks about a monster that was living in the lake Ness, and he kill loads of people and he ate it. Now, every year thousand of tourists visit it. There is another mostner like the monster of lake Ness, monster Tully. There are scientists who think that there isn't a reason to belive in this monster, but there are another people who belive in it. 

6.Which is the political system in the two countries of the British Isles?

The UK political system is a monarchy.
This means that the official head of state is the monarch, but his or her powers are limited by the constitution. The British constitution is not written in any single document. Only some of these rules are written down in the form of ordinary laws passed by Parliament at various times.
The symbols of every country:
  • England - red rose
  • Ireland - shamrock
  • Wales - leek, daffodil
  • Scotland - thistle 
The actual monarch is the queen Elisabeth the ll.

7.Can a person swim from Great Britain to France? How far is it? (3 / 30 / 300 km)
Yes,  the distance between France to Great Britain is of 30 km. Matthew webb swam it. 

8.Can you find three similarities and three differences between Britain and Spain? 
Similarities- Both are using Roman alphabet
                     The most importan sport is football
Differences- Lenguage, money, time.

You can look for information about history, political system, lifestyle, etc.

3.  As you know, one of the most representative monuments of England is “Big Ben”,  could you mention at least five more? British musuem, London eye, tower bridge

5. As we all know, British  are the only people driving on the left. Can you explain why?
Because when enemies came to England, the king put his sword on the left for attack them.  


6. What are the main differences between British and American  English? Give at least five examples

Introduction
Now we're going to talk about some vidios that we are watching  on english project. Hi my name's Monica and now i'm going to talking about unit 1, our town, and I am Carlota and i'm going to talk about unit 2 ,  a day in our lives.



Unit 1: Our town.
Steven meet Alex and Becky in oxfort and they went to visit it. After that, they went to a clothes shop and Becky wanted a t-shirt. Becky hasn't got any money and she took money from Steven, and she can bought de cool t-shirt. 


And now the roolplay
Becky:Hello, are you Steven?
Steven:Yes, I am!
Becky:Oh, I'm Becky, Alex's friend, nice to meet you!
Steven:Nice to meet you!
Becky: I really like that t-shirt but I haven't got money!
Steven: Here you are, five pounds. 
Becky: Thank you!


Unit 2 : A day in our lives. 
Alex get up at 7 o'clock then she went to the bathroom and after she went downstairs to have breakfast sometimes with her father. After classes she had maths homework. At half past seven she had dinner with her parents and at quarter to ten she goes to bed.

Mum: Alex it's 7 o'clock wake up!
Alex: Good morning! Now i'm going downstairs to have breakfast with my father!
Mum:Alex it's time to go to school!
Alex:OK, I'm going to school and then I have maths homework 
Mum: Alex, it's time to dinner, its half past past seven
Alex: OK, I'm going to have dinner with my parent's
Mum:Alex it's quarter to ten you must go to bed!
Alex: Good night!
